CPS Test
Click (or tap) as many times as you can before time runs out. Your result is shown in CPS (Clicks Per Second).
Tap to start
| Rating | CPS | |
|---|---|---|
| S | ≥ 12 CPS | Elite clicker |
| A | 9โ12 CPS | Fast |
| B | 6โ9 CPS | Around average |
| C | 4โ6 CPS | Below average |
| D | < 4 CPS | Warm up first |
How this test works
Click or tap the area as fast as possible for your chosen duration (1s, 5s, or 10s). The timer starts on your first click and ends automatically. We calculate CPS = total clicks รท duration in seconds.
Mouse clicking and touchscreen tapping use different finger motions, so your CPS will differ by input method. Your result shows which input you used โ compare your best against yourself on the same device and input.
How to raise your CPS
- Alternating index and middle finger (jitter-clicking) usually beats single-finger clicking
- Short runs (1s) reward a fast burst; long runs (10s) reward sustained speed
- Mouse debounce settings and click sensitivity can shift your number slightly

FAQ
- What's the average CPS?
- Single-finger clicking averages around 5โ7 CPS. Techniques like jitter-clicking can push some people over 10 CPS.
- Why do I get different results on phone vs PC?
- Mouse clicks and touchscreen taps are physically different motions handled by different input pipelines, so CPS naturally differs. Compare results on the same device and input method for fairness.
- Does rapid clicking get miscounted?
- No โ every click is counted individually, even sub-second apart. Using an auto-clicker tool defeats the point of measuring yourself, so please avoid it.
- Is this test free?
- Completely free, no signup. Works in any phone or desktop browser.
