RENBAN (Number Order Tapping)

RENBAN is MIKIRI's number-order tapping game. Numbers from 1 upward are scattered across a grid, and you tap them in order — 1, 2, 3… — before the time bar runs out. A wrong tap costs one second.

The format is based on the Schulte table, a classic grid used for visual search and attention practice. MIKIRI adds a twist: from round 13 the unpressed numbers start moving after every tap, first by swapping two of them and later by reshuffling all of them. Memorising the grid stops working, so you have to search again every time.

Hoe te spelen

1. Enter a username and choose RENBAN
2. Find 1 in the grid and tap it
3. Keep tapping 2, 3, 4… in order before the time bar empties
4. A wrong tap takes one second off the clock
5. Finish the grid to clear the round; running out of time costs a life

Moeilijkheidsgraad

Round 1 is a 3×3 grid of 9 numbers with 1.4 seconds per number. Grids grow to 12, 16, 20, 25, 30 and 36 numbers. Round 13 (elite) turns on swapping, round 22 turns on full reshuffling, and round 28 (beyond human) uses 36 numbers. Each round changes only one thing: the count, the time per number, or the shuffle.

Tips

• Look at the centre of the grid and let your eyes sweep outwards
• While tapping one number, already look for the next
• Do not rush into wrong taps — each one costs a full second
• In shuffle rounds, forget the layout and search fresh each time
• Hold the phone steady; small grids reward accuracy over speed
