NAGARE (Read the Passing Number)
Read the number while it moves.
NAGARE is MIKIRI's moving-number game. A number enters from the right edge of the screen and sweeps across to the left. Once it has gone, you type what you saw. It is the most literal version of dynamic visual acuity in MIKIRI: FLASH shows a still number for an instant, NAGARE makes you read a number that is moving.
Each round makes only one thing harder — the speed or the number of digits — and rounds that add a digit slow the pass down slightly. Miss, and the same number plays back in slow motion with how many leading digits you caught, so you can see exactly where your reading broke down. You have two lives.

Jak grać
- Enter a username and choose NAGARE
- Wait for the number to enter from the right
- Read it as it sweeps across
- Type the digits after it passes — the answer is checked as soon as all digits are in
- Clear the round to continue; a miss costs a life and shows a slow replay
Poziom trudności
Round 1 is 3 digits passing in 1.6 seconds. Round 13 (elite) is 5 digits in 0.65 seconds, round 21 (demon) is 7 digits in 0.34 seconds, and round 28 (beyond human) is 10 digits in 0.38 seconds. From round 35 it stays at 12 digits in 0.24 seconds. The pass time is measured from when the first digit enters to when the last digit leaves, and it does not depend on your screen's refresh rate.
Wskazówki
- Keep your eyes near the centre of the lane instead of chasing the number from the right edge
- Take the number in as two or three chunks rather than digit by digit
- Use the slow replay: if you always lose the end, you are starting too late
- Play on the same device and in the same position when you compare results
- Rest your eyes between runs; there is no flashing, but fast motion is still tiring
FAQ
- Q. Is NAGARE free?
- A. Yes. It is free, needs no signup and runs in your phone or desktop browser.
- Q. How is it different from FLASH?
- A. FLASH shows a number in one place for an instant. NAGARE moves the number across the screen, so you have to read it while it travels.
- Q. Does it flash?
- A. No. The number moves at a constant speed; there is no blinking or blackout.
- Q. What does the score mean?
- A. The main score is the highest round cleared. It is a game score, not a medical or sports-performance measurement.
